Ten years at one company, and then it got acquired this July. I helped hold everything steady through the transition, keeping 100% continuity for a 50+ person team, and when the dust settled the acquiring company had brought their own. 3. Why am I available?
The first two weeks I'll ask a lot of questions, how much notice you want, what you'd rather not be asked about, which meetings you'll actually take, whether you want bad news right away or after coffee. After that I stop asking, because I know. You'll get fewer calendar invites you didn't approve, no expense reports to chase, and a lot fewer small decisions landing on you at 6pm. I like this work, and I like the people I do it for, you'll find I'm easy to have around and hard to surprise.

Most executive assistants can run a calendar. I ran a company. Six-figure budget, vendor contracts, confidential records for 50+ people, and the first SOPs that company ever had, which exist mostly because I got tired of answering the same question.
